Well before online trends started shifting towards HTML5, including in the field of online video, we have been working hard on our Floating Clips Player in order to keep it cutting edge and state of the art. The challenge was to develop an online player in HTML5 that would be able to seamlessly play videos with a transparent background - something that didn't exist at all before.
The HTML5 standard is in fact still at its beginning - and it was even more when we started our research - and therefore it lacks a lot of the nuances and possibilities afforded by much more developed environments like Adobe's Flash.
We therefore went ahead and started developing our own HTML5 Player, one that would be able to play floating clips with a transparent background. We succeded, and we are now proud to have released it to all our users - present and future.
This is why all our customers can be confident that their floating clips are future proof, regardless of what will be Adobe Flash's destiny: our HTML5 Player for Chrome and Firefox will be able to play them in full accordance with HTML5's standards, and we will make sure that it will do so for as long as needed.
